O&E (Owners and Encumbrances) reports provide current information such as the current or last owner, liens and encumbrances of records, pending litigation, construction permits filed in the past (usually) 6 months, ordinance violations, current taxes as well as other current matters. An O&E report is often used by those in real estate investing or homeowners who want to check open liens existing against a property and to be aware of current title matters. O&E reports, also known as Property Information Report, is a simplified non-insurance title report designed for informational purposes only.
